Click and Grow Experiment: Carrots, Day 5

As always, here is the picture of the set-up:

As soon as I saw the seeds about to sprout I transferred them into the pods. It's hard to see but they are slowly peaking out. I had read somewhere that this variety of carrots can also be slow when sprouting. I guess in some cases (depending on temperature) it can take anywhere from 45 - 70 days. Luckily, I did not have to wait that long. The change in the seed when germinating was interesting, it was like a snake egg. It became very soft. I'm glad I didn't kill any of them during the transfer.
