Podcast Assignment
When I decided to do a book I wanted to do my favorite child's one, Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss. I did the original version and found it to be over 8 minutes! So I went looking for a shorter version. The version I did is actually published. If you go to a book store you might see a lot of Dr. Seuss books on a rack with both the normal version and the shorter one (smaller books, almost pocket sized).
The recording of the shorter version was just under 3 minutes. The next part is why this assignment was so hard. I went looking for audio to use. I wanted to find some I could use for the chicks walking and maybe the goose chewing. I also wanted to find some sword fighting for the beetles. This was hard to do because I couldn't find any that worked. They were either too realistic or non-existent. So I just went with background music instead.
Below you'll find both an audio file and a video file. I did the project on iMovie and for my voice recording I used the new feature on Mac called Voice Memo (can only be found if you download Mojave).

I liked both of your versions. I also had a lot of trouble with this assignment. I lost two recordings of my kids listening to me reading as they added sound effects. Garage Band and I did not get along too well. I like that you used background music. This book was one of my own children's favorite and ir also gave my husband fits to read over and over again when they asked.
